# Request a URL rescan (re-analyze)

Returns a [Analysis](https://virustotal.readme.io/reference/analyses-object) object descriptor which can be used in the [GET/analyses/{id}](https://virustotal.readme.io/reference/analysis) API endpoint to get further information about the analysis status.
