File sizeIf the file to be uploaded is bigger than 32MB, please use the /files/upload_url endpoint instead which admits files up to 650MB.
IoC scanning and dataset inclusionAny IoC submitted or queried via the API will be scanned and added to the VirusTotal dataset, making it accessible to the community. Do not submit or query indicators containing sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable information (PII).
If password was provided and the file isn't a ZIP, it contains more than one file, the password is incorrect, or the file is corrupt.
